Northern Catskills farm surrounded by protected state forest land--one hour from Hudson, three from NYC.

Dugas Farm Meadow

Summit, NY
$100/night - Continue to Booking

Secluded old meadow on a working farm set in the hidden gem Burnt-Rossman Hills State Forest. Hiking trails are accessible from the property, and, for fishers, the Betty Brook at the bottom of the hill is a state recognized trout breeding stream. The old CCC roads in the forest make for excellent mountain biking!

Pull in at the house and take a beautiful stroll through a wildflower meadow to the site. The cows may moo at you across the drystone wall next to your tent. Have at the raspberries, but please leave apples and pears--they are destined for the cider press.

Middleburgh is a charming village 20 minutes down the road. On the way through the beautiful Schoharie Valley you'll pass several excellent farmstands and the trailhead for Vroman's Nose.
